How to remove choke handle?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the knob for the choke? I've tried everything I can think of, and I just can't get it off without feeling like I'm going to break it....

Ahh... I've had a number of parts on this thing that I've later learned were aftermarket... I never suspected the choke cable.Esteban wrote:Your choke cable looks to be an aftermarket.
