Marvels Mystery Oil --- fix all???

My Patrol has not fired up for 20 years this June and is a little gunked up. Would it hurt to drain the motor oil completely and put maybe three liters of Marvels Mystery Oil in and let it sit for a fe days to break up any old sludge that may have formed over the years? Periodically giving a revolution or two on the manuel crank to slosh things up. Any comments welcomed and appreciated, I've heard nothing but good things about the mystery oil but wanted to ask you guys first.

Only semi-related -- Drain and replace the gasoline including the gas already in the carb bowl. I learned from experience that old gas easily wrecks an engine!

Here's what happened to me! http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic ... 983#p22983

Here's an article I found where Marvel Mystery Oil was used in an engine that sat for a while.

Excellent tips in that article. Most of them have been mentioned by some members, but scattered in many posts.
