69 Clutch slave cylindar
So I'm rebuilding a clutch slave cylinder on a kl60. I find it bizzar that there is no spring or retention clip. I'm I missing some thing? I have a outer boot inner plunger and seal and rod? seems like there should be more to it?

Sorry to hear that, but in fact you're missing the retention clip and the spring.

Thanks, That what I thought.
funny the cylinder has no inside grove for the retention pin. My only guess is someone was aggressive with a hone. Ok i'm looking for a new or rebuilt slave cylinder in the states, Anyone? I do have a line on one from our friends in Australia.. Thanks again Esteban!

Hey Bigjoe,
Plenty of new slave cylinders in Australia so if you need a hand getting hold of one just just us a shout.
I dont think I have seen a rebuild kit for the slave before. I do remember seeing one when I was replacing mine but it was just a boot kit.

Regarding the groove; I disassembled two (2) Patrol CSC and discovered they are exactly the same as the 1965-1966 Datsun PL520 CSC, except for the retaining clip and matching groove.
