Paint Top Coat

So ordering paint for my Patrol on Monday, going with the original color. I will spray it myself..Yes I can paint very well..

So what would the Patrol world go with on the paint top coat:

1. Single stage paint.

2. Two stage paint aka "Base Coat/Clear coat."

I use single stage.
Beyond any hope for intervention
