Sunken Patrol

Post by pdub »

I was surfin the web and found this unfortunate patrol. It's a compilation of boat dock fails with one being a completely submerged Patrol.

Too funny! (BTW, it's at 1:32) -- I grew up near Folsom Lake and saw a couple of these in real life. In fact, the first one reminds me of Folsom Lake!

I fondly remember those hot shot boat owners -- you know the one, too cool to get wet -- so they would back the trailer mostly under the boat, push it a bit on with the boat engine and then tug it up the ramp. Of course, since they didn't actually tie the boat to the trailer AND because they were cool, they'd speed-tug it out of the water. More than once we saw the boat stop about half way up the ramp while the trailer yanked out from under; leaving the boat to clunk down on the ramp and slide back into the water leaving a fiberglass skidmark all the way back down to the water... Aaah memories!

Man, I wish we had cell phone cameras then. Come to think of it, I wish we had cell phones then! ;-)
