I missed the end of the Auction. I think that was a pretty fair price. Was the sale price including the 5% buyers premium?

Mike was this the condition in which you sold this vehicle to Jeff??

1964 Nissan Patrol - $13900

1964 Nissan Patrol, very rare truck. They brought about only 2300 into the US 1962 to 1969. This Patrol comes with full hardtop and full hard doors also half hard doors which were custom made. Many extra important parts included. The 4x4 is a California black plate car. Runs and drives excellent. The truck has its share of bumps and bruises, but nothing unusual on an honest, 50 year-old off-roader. The drivetrain benefits from a recent full fluid change including brake, transmission, transfer case, differentials and engine. Shocks are new at all four corners, including a fifth used as a steering damper. Records include all manuals as well as 20 years and three owners worth of documents and receipts for an engine bearing change, carb rebuild, tires, shocks and other wearable items. A Pertronix electronic ignition is hidden underneath the OEM distributor cap, the carburetor and all five tires are new. 13.900.00 call my cell for more info 310-722-4100 thanks!!! Jeff

I don't know if Mike checks in very often, but I was familiar enough with the truck to say that yes, this is the condition it was in when he sold it. I took the pictures that he used to advertise it.

Sorry to see that it's for sale again already. :| Guess it wasn't the right fit.
Beyond any hope for intervention

That's exacly how I want our '66 to turn out. Only Mt Fuji Blue.

BTW...I've watched this rig increase in value over the years.

$6400 http://bringatrailer.com/2010/03/10/the ... an-patrol/

$13,250 http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-nissan-patrol/

And now $13,900.

Personally, I'm surprised this one isn't worth MORE than that to the right buyer.... I mean, there are very few "early" Patrols out there in as fine (and as original) condition as this one. I can only think of 3 off the top of my head: this one, Esteban's, and the Blue 64 soft top that sold back in 2008 by Spuds. (any others I am missing?)

Aside from a few, very minor "incorrect" parts (mirrors, shifter boots, etc...) This one is about as close to what a 64 Patrol looked like (in 1964) as you are going to find (IMHO). The only mechanical detractor when Mike sold it last year is that the odo didn't work (not sure if that is fixed now, or not)

Add to that the fact that this one is a steady, reliable driver. That is a huge bonus.

The only other thing I would personally consider doing to increase the visual appeal would be to improve the blending between the body panels on the paint...

If I hadn't already had 2 (with number 3 on the way) at the time, I probably would have bought this one from Mike.
