Flat Towing your patrol
I am picking up another Pat and I am gonna flat tow it home. I just wanted to make sure that it is like every other truck w/ a maunal tranny I have owned, meaning that I can tow it w/o having to remove the Driveshafts

Flat Towing your patrol
I just towed my '69 Patrol over 5000miles without a problem. 1) I unlocked the front hubs.(shouldn't be a problem if you have full time hubs) 2) Put the transfer case into 4WD 3) Put the High/Low lever in the center or Neutral position. 4) I always start the engine, put the trans in any gear and see if I can drive off, Just checking to see if I really am in neutral. 5) Put the trans in neutral and shut off the engine Note: You will encounter more drag if you have full time hubs as you are turning the front differential. New replacement hubs are available through SUPERWINCH Company.
