Hey Andy, They have asked for a photo of points. I will send sometime today and let you know what they say. I tried to follow all the threads in reference to this modification but in the end I figured I would just try it myself when needed. I'll let you know what I find out. Pete

I have been corresponding with a gentleman in Japan. He has told me to send him my chassis number and he will look for parts. Is the chassis number the same as VIN? If not, where on the chassis can it be found?

I feel like I am wallowing in ignorance. Could someone please explain to me how to set point gap? When I attempt to loosen point screw. the whole plate seems to move. The screw moves laterally in a little slot but does not seem to effect gap. ?!? My dwell is reading about 34 degrees. Is this close e...

Thanks to all. I learned a couple of things. Using a digital meat thermometer , my temp was reading a steady 184. One other thing I learned, using a meat thermometer for checking temp on your Patrol =angry girlfriend. A man's got to have his priorities though.
