Set Point Gap

Post by npca-stryder2000441 »

I feel like I am wallowing in ignorance. Could someone please explain to me how to set point gap? When I attempt to loosen point screw. the whole plate seems to move. The screw moves laterally in a little slot but does not seem to effect gap. ?!? My dwell is reading about 34 degrees. Is this close enough?
