Years ago I posted on here I was selling my ‘65 but ended up hanging onto it. I am finally getting the time and the bug to work on it. Don’t hate me, but restomod is my plan. I have the complete P-40 engine (disassembled all the way to bare block), the transmission, and the transfer case. At some point I will likely have the axles to offer up as well, but for now, anyone in need of the motor, tranny, and t-case? I can’t stomach sending it to the scrapyard, and really need the space in my tiny garage. I’m located in Murfreesboro, TN.
Tranny and t-case are in working order as far as I know. They are still mounted together. I have the bell housing and clutch that was in it as well.
I don’t know what issue the engine had, but minor disassembly had already begun when I bought it. I was originally going to rebuild the engine, which is why I tore it all the way down, but I have changed my mind.
I’m not looking to make a bunch of money on it, I just don’t want it to go to waste. I’ll agree to any reasonable offer.
