Hey all! Getting close to completion, finally. Buttoning up a few final details and could use some help. 1) Can someone enlighten me as to what this L bracket under the dash is for?; and 2) what was the stock finish on the door cards, were they painted interior color? Remaining to be done other than above: exhaust system, new upholstery, top, alignment, heater core, tailgate door hinges (missing 5 hinge halves - if anyone can offer those up please shout out to me). For the top my current plan is to fabricate a bikini over the cab and then a tonneau with windowed rear cab panel connecting to the bikini for the bed. For those that have followed this project for the last 10+ years, I ditched the custom roll cage (pic here) it's available in Boulder, CO if anyone is interested.

That little bracket is for a cable that attaches to the throttle pedal. It lets you keep the pedal pressed down to idle up, or if you are brave it’s an old school cruise control. The cable has a knob that matches your headlight knob, but has a “T” engraved in it in the same font as the heater and headlight knobs

Thanks for this. Another "tractor like" feature on this farm implement ;-)
