Does anyone know how to remove the rear wheel wheel bearing from the axle? I removed the threaded nut and the locking washer, but the bearing won't slide off.
Any special tools that are needed?
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Rear wheel bearing removal
Just posted this above - As I recall having a press was a handy tool.

Download the 1978 Service Manual that has better instructions and graphics.

As RiverPatrol suggested, there you’ll find that a press is needed.

Re: Rear wheel bearing removal
Thank you both for your help.
The 1978 manual helped me see how to use the press.
Then my electrician mind kicked in and I was able to use some unistrut and some beam clamps!
