1) how long of a tether on the back-side of this light did it have from the factory? Mine has a steel hook on the back when you remove it from its base suggesting it could be hung up or moved around to view something.

2) anyone have a lens for this? I’ve got a query posted on parts wanted forum and an email to a gent that suggested he was going to reproduce them? CHECK this, I’ve been sent a link for one.

There's probably about 2 feet of wire tether on the dash light.

Someone responded to your post about the lens with a link to a source.

Thanks River, I saw the post but the link referred to the lens as being the engine bay light.
