onlineautoparts.com.au - Reputable Vendor?

Post by r1lark »

Considering ordering front wheel bearing/seal kits from onlineautoparts.com.au

Would like some feedback from folks who have used this company - are they a reputable company, with good customer service, and quality parts?

Thanks!!

I've bought from them on eBay. Good transaction. Where I had an issue they were very accommodating in working with me on it.

I got rear rotors and pads for my Pulsar from them, fast delivery - I'm in Australia - and they called before sending them to check that my car was the early Australian built model and not the later Japanese built version. Pretty happy with the service and prices.

RiverPatrol has recently used one on Punkin. They are great. They were out when I tried to order one for inventory.

Keep in mind what Esteban pointed out in another thread, that the front axle changed form tracts joints to birfield joint around '69ish. That eliminated the cone bearing and replaced it with a regular conical bearing. The set I got had the later style bearing. They are probably not aware of the early style cone bearing, you may need to purchase that separately after getting the kit.

River, the kit I'm considering (https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/prod ... /ZPN-01242) is only the inner and outer wheel bearings/races and the seals. Here is a pic:

If you find the two halves needed that RiverPatrol identified on that website please point them out to me. I didn't see them.
