L-60.....

Post by hoyt »

hello.....my 1967 Nissan Patrol is listed as a L-60...?
All I have heard is G-60.....Or they all considered a 60 up to a certain year...?
I ordered front wheel cylinders from down under and it said for G- 60....
Then find out mine indicates its a L-60...
some one please tell me what they know please

The Patrols sold in the US and Canada are model L60 or KL60, this means they are left hand drive and don't have the heavy load rear differential. The Australian Patrols are model G60, they means they are right hand drive and have the heavy load rear differential. In Colombia the Patrols are model LG60, this means they are left hand drive and have the heavy load rear differential.

They all use the same wheel cylinders, so you're ok with that order. Not everything is compatible with the G60s though, largely because they are right hand drive, they have the heavy duty rear differential and they are mostly from the 70's so there are some changes in certain components.
Beyond any hope for intervention
