clutch question

Gday folks,
Will a clutch that suits the p40 engine fit the nissan 4.0p?

I won’t fit. The P engine has thicker splines at the gearbox. The P40 has thinner splines.

There’s a Ford 11” clutch from 1942 to 1965 with 1-3/8”x10 spline hub from some supliers in the USA.

So what is the best option for a complete new clutch? Again I'm struggling to find the right one.

Are you able to source the Ford clutch disk over there?

I purchase one last year as a spare after reading the following post. I have an old disk that I can compare for you this weekend, and also look at how it fits on the clutch plate.

Sourcing the pressure plate can be difficult. So the regular route of replacing everything might not work. But if your pressure plate is in decent shape I will just keep it untouched.

I had my clutch and cover rebuilt at a local shop here in Northern California... but that probably doesn't help much being a million miles away and all! Look around for a shop that re-lines big truck brakes... they probably can do the clutch and cover too.

There are plenty of G60 clutches on ebay.com.au.

Just make sure they are for a G60.
