Dimmer switch

Post by Coyote Patrol »

Well I can’t locate the information on the dimmer switch. I need to replace mine. The compatible parts list used to show this info. Any ideas?

Goog to see you back Ron!

Any foot operated dimmer switch will work but you’ll need to modify the terminals.

Older style headlight dimmer switch is installed from the outside. Not sure when they modified to be installed inside which is much better protected from water and rock impacts.

Napa, for example, carries part #: ECH DS114.

There are many others. You might need to cover the hole and run some through bolts to attach it.

Thanks Esteban! I ordered a dimmer switch a few years ago from the parts list. It was from a Ford vehicle of some type. It fit perfectly in the original mounting holes. I just can’t find that info anymore! Thanks for the reply! I hope you and your family are doing well!

What part # did you order? I see mention of NAPA DS105 fitting the bolt holes.
