BullDog Canyon Arizona- June 2020

Post by moore_rb »

The El Bondo Patrol is now certified to be an off-road capable, 4 wheel drive machine...

However, the passenger door handle has failed to meet the basic requirements of its primary duty...: :( :( :(

(Anyone got a spare early style door handle they can send me ???? :ugeek: )

You got it dirty!

That seems to be a common failure with those early style door handles. I think I have a spare somewhere.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Yeah- I had noticed that this handle was cracked near the hinge pin a long time ago, and I oiled the door latch assembly to make it as smooth and easy as possible to open, but it finally gave up.

That would be most awesome if you had a spare you could part with. Just PM, Call, or txt me if you find one

I am down to the last four that I have (which I need for my 62 and 65 projects) :geek:

Excellent off roading capability!

If RiverPatrol doesn't have a door handle I am sure I do.

Patrolling with envy,

Always good to a Patrol out and about! Any chance you have more pics of your adventure?

I have a couple more shots that were taken with my nephew's 4wd-converted Jeep Comanche...

That's awesome, Rob! Thanks to you, I rebuilt my rear end and my Patrol is up and running and I'll have to check Bulldog Canyon out. Maybe when it cools down a bit...
