; Glad I could help... Im gonna hijack your thread since you got your pic...Has anybody ever put an aftermarket triple guage pod(Voltometer, Oil PSI, and Temp) in their Patrol? If so, where is the oil pressure sensor and temp sensor? Get a FREE computer virus scan online from McAfee.

The temp. sending unit is in the thermostat housing, on the drivers side. the oil pressure sender is just behind the oil filter. BTW, does anyone know if there is a compatable temo sending unit? Mine is so far gone that it reads backwards. Start it up and it is pegged hot. Two blocks down the road and it says its dead cold.

Well, I installed the temp sensor and guage. The smallest adapter worked! I cant believe it, for once in the few months Ive owned my Patrol, I bought a part that just bolted on!!! I got it all hooked up and started it. Topped the radiator off with water. Lost quite a bit installing the sending unit... I layed into that sucker trying to warm it up. These things dont run very hot, do they? I couldnt get it off of the 130*F mark! I knew it was probably telling the truth, because the heater was still throwing out air about the temp of the air inside my house... about 80*F...Well, I will finish installing the other guages tomarrow and see how they work...

Jon, You might check to see if your thermostat is stuck open. 130* seems too cold too me. The thermostat should'nt open until 160*. Here is a link to the "Compatibale Parts List". It has a NAPA thermostat part # if your's is bad.
