Did someone snag the radiator that was on here for sale while back that was leaked free? Can't find that listing anywhere. I've seen the thread for the aftermarket solution but was wondering if that original was still around somewhere.
Thx!

Re: There was a radiator for sale awhile back...
I hope you find it but after four original condition radiators and fuel tanks from running Patrols ....when bought. Actually, they ran well. One might think they were ready to go
Well, possible so .....for short distances with a chase vehicle. I have yet to find one that included a reliable radiator or fuel tank... suitable for my use.
None leaked when bought due to rust and grime plugging the holes. So my advice is simply rebuild yours.
Same goes for the fuel tank. Non of these leaked either, but interior wall sealant and rust plugs the fuel filter and carb quickly. Then you run that gunk through the motor?
It is expensive to rebuild both, budget $1,000
but until both are like new you can't go very far......in my limited experience.
Ok, I know you knew all that...I'm bored

Re: There was a radiator for sale awhile back...
I have to disagree in part. Fuel tanks? Yes, rebuild or clean up immediately. Radiators on the other hand are normally pretty reliable, depending on how the vehicle was maintained. I usually pull the radiator to have it rodded out and most of the time that is sufficient. Maybe your radiator shop sees you coming with a blank check...
This guy listed a radiator available: https://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopi ... =15&t=5663

RiverPatrol, it is possible I have had bad luck or I just don't want any weak points and you know i can't technically argue with a shop's opinion. In any case, I'm just reporting my experience.
My off road needs are not normal, I understand that. If I was just driving around the farm or neighborhood I could accept less. For me, a stitch in time saves nine.
