My mechanic tells me I need new lifters.
Does anyone know where I can source some?

wish i could help, crickets from me.... maybe someone who's gone through a rebuild can point you in a direction.... from what i've read, it's not exactly easy to machine these (not that it can't be done), but the lobe on the top of the lifter ever so slight can be tricky to figure out if it's not perfectly flat... I'll keep googling along with you.

Your mechanic can't source Nissan Forklift lifters?
The Nissan P and PPU engines both used the same lifters. The P40 used a different size, so don't try a set of those.
If you can't find a set of PPU lifters from any of the forklift supply places, PM me- I have extra used lifters, somewhere, in a box, on a shelf, next to another box filled with other junk...
