Hello everyone. I had a tub of parts with my patrol and finally went through it fully yesterday. I found a bunch of unlabeled/unmarked seals/gaskets and I am wondering if anyone can identify them for me. Here are the pictures:
1. i know these are used, but still would like to know what they are for, in case I am in a pinch and need these
2 - 4. these are all rubber "o-rings" with a rectangular cross section. they are numbered based on their differences in thickness, as far as I can tell.
5 - 10. These all look like oil seals, just not sure where on the engine/vehicle they would go!

Without an idea of at least the external diameter of the seals, it's very difficult to guess.
#1 These are rear axle shims, to control the end play of the axles.
#2, #3, #4 Don't look to be Patrol parts
#5 Looks like the output seal for the transfer case (front and rear) and used also for the pinion seal at the differentials.

Sorry for the delay, but I hope this picture helps. Laid down a ruler.

I've realized that we don't have here at the site what the dimensions are for every seal in the Patrol. There are not that many, and we should start making this list.
I was able to get measurements from the internet for a few seals based on their part number. But with the few that I got, I can only be sure of the following two seals in your picture:
#5 --> Transfer Case output seals, front and rear. Also the pinion seal at the differentials. (4 ea. needed in the Patrol) Measurements are 50x73x15.5 in milimiters. Double Seal for Oil and Water
#8 --> Steering Box Seal. Measurements should be 32x45x8 milimiters.
Most of the seals will have a number stamped on them. You should try to look for them and post.

thanks very much for the info. I keep forgetting to check on those numbers, on top of the fact I have been extremely busy lately....
