Gday alll
Recently had the great idea of purchasing a slightly rusty g60, first on the list of many thing Ill need it a thermostat housing as the existing one is only half there. Dont have faith that the alluminium will be able to take a weld. I spoke to a datsun parts guy on the phone who mentioned something about a falcon ome fitting? Otherwise does anyone have a spare one they woukd part with?
Cheers, John

Re: Thermostat housing.....
Hi John,
Nice project you have there, let the fun begin !
If you can find someone with a good housing they'll part with then go with that, but this link had some info that may help...

The housing did take a weld but who knows how long for...
The Falcon ones I tried weren't quite right and the outlet wasn’t pointed the right way but there may be one that will work even if a little modification is required...the 4cyl fords have too small an outlet but the pattern is right and the gasket fits perfectly.
NLA from Kilkenny Castings and I never found a proper replacement part - please let us know if you have better luck !
Cheers,
D

Re: Thermostat housing.....
I might be able to help you out. I'll need to check.
Unfortunately I'm just off to the airport and away for 2 weeks.
If you still need one when I return PM and I'll start looking.
I'm located in Canberra. You?
