Full gasket set for 69... would this work?

Post by curlrider11 »

Hey guys, looking at gasket sets for keeping on hand.... has anyone bought from this aussie source? and does this appear to be the correct set for a 69? Seems like it but feedback would be appreciated. Just says it includes every gasket for a rebuild, but some threads on here seem to indicate there's no all-in-one set that will cover every gasket w/o piecing together from other sources...

It is the correct one.

With the info on eBay about the manufacturer part # GSFJ380E, located it on the following page, that states that the set is for the P engine up to 1980, so you're good to go.

Just in case, the gasket set for the P40 engine only differs in the gaskets for the timing cover and water pump. I personally don't use the paper gaskets and rather have been using silicone for ages, so the two sets are interchangeable for me.
