Top Seals/rubber

Anyone found a top seal kit for a short wheel base 60 hard top? I ordered an FJ40 one and have my fingers crossed that it can be modified to work but it wouldn’t hurt to have a backup plan. If anyone has resealed the top, please share any lessons learned. I’m guessing the rain gutter/cap seal to the sides/back corners should be fairly similar to the FJ but we will see. I’ll let everyone know once I receive it. Thanks.

I recently did this on mine.

I purchased Neoprene Rubber Strips 60A Medium Hardness WITH ADHESIVE BACKING - 3/16" .187" / 2" wide x 10' long from Rubber Sheet Warehouse.

I also purchased the 1/4" thick strips in case the 3/16" were too thin. I started with the 3/16" thick strips and peeled the paper off sticking them on. Well, I should have used the 1/4" because I think everything would have lined up better. I was in too deep with the 3/16" and made them work, though.

I have 4 of the 1/4" x 2" x 10' adhesive strip rolls that I don't plan to use. If you're interested, I'll sell them to you. It's enough to do the entire hardtop with new rubber between the roof/sides and the sides/tub.
