1963 Patrol in PDX

Hello Patrol people!
Well, I'm the proud owner of a '63. She's in rough shape and missing a few parts, but she's mine. Have lots of dreams that I want to do to her, for now I just want to make it safe to drive around Portland. You know, normal stuff like stopping. I drover home a month or so ago and immediately removed the top. I have a Land Rover Series III that is my toy and will be selling to finance the restore of the Nissan.

WOW! The bug bit you fast... I took me 3 years to gather up 4 junkers You did it in a couple weeks, haha

This may sound like a very odd request, but could you go over that dark green one closely, and get some close up photos of the door jams, and under the hood, etc?

I would really like to know if that dark green is the original exterior paint on that Patrol, and if it is metallic? It looks an awful lot like the metallic green that came on my 62 Patrol, and I have pretty conclusively determined that my 62 came from Nissan wearing that color, even though it was never listed as an available paint code in any Patrol parts-book (The Nissan paint code is 303 green, BTW)

I would love to document the existence of another US market Patrol that came from Nissan wearing this metallic green paint as the original color (up until now, my 62 has been very lonely ) .

I have these old photos of the green Patrol you just bought- The wheels and tires, and the "custom" front bumper tell me it's the same rig, Sure looks like the same color to me...:

I would really appreciate any close-ups you could take of this rig, especially around areas where the green meets the gray interior, or where the green paint transitions to bare metal/rust, and look for overspray around any window trim.

If it's still wearing it's factory paint job, then there will be a red-oxide primer, and there may (or may not) be a layer of the interior gray color above the red primer, and then the exterior color on top...

Also, please get photos of all the numbers from your numerous Patrols, so we can see if they are listed in the registry (and add them if they are not)

First one is at my casa and I'm almost done w/ the teardown. The other two will come home one at a time dismantled and categorized. This one is a 1964 vin #KL60-3-00841

Interesting that the block has no number. It must be a replacement, possibly even a forklift engine.
