Pivoting Seat Anchors

Got rust? Seats, panels, doors, windows, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Body & Interior' category are here.

Pivoting Seat Anchors

Post by DMC Z »

Good morning,

I recently took my driver's seat out to replace the battery. In the process, I noticed picot point on the passenger side is a cotter pin whereas the driver's side is a bolt with a lock washer and nut. Can someone please post a photo of the correct seat pin pivot set up in a 1968 Patrol? The added convenience of the cotter pin is nice, but a more structurally sound bolt seems more appropriate.

Many thanks in advance
