60Patrol

Good afternoon (usa PST)

I have used this site a lot as a research tool and now am happy I can be a part of it.
This is my first Patrol but not my first early Nissan

I just jumped down the rabbit hole and came up with a 66 Patrol. Pictures will be posted once the tow truck shows up with it. In himming and hawing i made a laundry list of necessary parts to get it back on the road. Number 1 being a fuel tank, the truck currently has a plastic fuel cell in the back. I am guessing it will work but I'd rather get the proper steel one with a sender. hopefully somebody has one.

Welcome to 60Patrol! Nice to hear you've been making use of the useful information here already. What other Nissans/Datsuns have you had? Be sure to post up pictures soon, we love pictures. You can use the 'Wanted' section for your laundry list, and eBay is very helpful at times.

Thou shalt not covet thy fellow forum member's Datsuns/Nissans! But I cannot help it!

I have started poking at my patrol. I checked the bores... They're quite clean. I let the cylinders sit with MMO for a few days put 12 volts to it and it spun nicely. I poked around here and found the P/N for the forklift fuel pump. I ordered it and 3 days later... Kyosan. A bit of information I am hoping to acquire here. Can someone give me a picture of a dash with an idiots guide to what buttons do? I have a couple WTF are these toggles they I'm sure are Previous owner additions.
