Does anyone have a source for replacement bulb socket insulators

https://www.flickr.com/photos/53116286@ ... en-public/

Note, this socket is from a 1969 Patrol turn signal, which has the mounting tab offset from the terminals. (Compared to the 240Z which has the tab inline with the terminals.)

Thanks,
Keith

Could be my phone or something else, but I can't get the link to work.

Justin,

The socket from a 1969 Patrol turn signal, which has the mounting tab offset from the terminals. Compared to the Dorman which has the tab inline with the terminals.

I scrounged my garage and only found the wrong type. You could buy the Dorman part and drill two more holes, or if you wish, I have four square feet of Micarta insulating board. I could send you a piece to make new parts from.

Bill,
Perhaps if I fill the two holes on the Dorman (with 2 part epoxy) and drill new holes I will be successful.

I appreciate your offer of the Micarta insulating board. If this board is as dense as my insulator I would need to find a way to cut the circumference cleanly. Let me ponder my options.

This forum is really a braintrust of information.
