1981 patrol

i just bought a 81 patrol G 160 (?) 4 door.it runs great and i have installed a set of 34/9.5 swampers on it and am now looking for a set of lockers for it.this one came from europe.has anyone put a chevy v8 in one?and any info on doing a spring over would help.i live in anchorage alaska. thanks mike

Dellow & Marks4wd in Australia both have v8 conversion kits for your truck. ARB makes lockers for the diffs. SOA, you canfind some pictures of this on this website and lot's of info on it over at the Outer Limits 4x4 forum.

thanks,mine has a divorced t-case so i can build my mounts for the engine and tranny.i do need a oil presure sending unit and dist cap now for the 6 cyl.i think it is the same engine as what is in the 240-280 z cars.where can i get lower gears for the stock diffs? thanks
