Modifying Wheels For Patrols

One of the best methods I've found to accurately enlarge the center of GM wheels to fit the front hubs of Patrols is to use two hole saws. The small saw should fit snugly into the wheel's existing center, and the larger is the size of the Patrol's hub. The small saw serves as a guide for the larger, which makes a very accurate cut. I've had these wheels spin-balanced at tire shops that use a machine that mounts them to a center mandrill and they balance fine.

Thanks, Esteban. Short of having a lathe or taking wheels to a machine shop, this is the best way I've found to do it. Use plenty of oil when doing the cutting!
