Just in case you don't know....replacement body panels are available from Colombia. The price isn't all that bad. I'm trying to figure out how to make it work because The Green Machine could really use new fenders and rear box.

General Pricing

Metal fenders with primer, shipped to your house - $300

Floor panels - can't recall
Front section the grill fits into - can't recall

Parts fit the G60 and forum members have said the fit is reasonably good.

A couple of members here have imported body parts from Colombia. I hope they chime in with some ideas.

The body parts from Colombia will fit 69 Patrols and later (no sure about the exact date), but some tweaking will be needed in earlier models, like your Green Machine.

The floor panels for one, are smaller in width for later model Patrols. So please note that. Also, since most Patrols in Colombia are MWB, the rear tub is probably aimed for those, so a clarification with the vendor will be needed.

Has anyone purchased any of these body panels from Colombia? I'm seriously considering getting the floor pan section for my 1969 Patrol (with the front, rectangular turn signal lenses) and would love to know if anyone has tried these with any fitment issues.

The floor pan is $650 on eBay, so I definitely don't want to get it and find out it doesn't fit.

Was that for the entire floor or just one floor pan side, ie drivers side? I purchased a drivers side from them quite some time ago. Its not a direct replacement. I had to do alot of cutting and welding to make it fit on my 69. I had to cut some off the right side of the panel to make it line up properly and trim some off so that it doesn't rub against the transmission and clutch slave. Then after trimming the inside to fit now the outside doesn't line up where it should so I had to cut off the lip and fab up a piece to extend it out to where it should be. Also the stiffening ribs under are much different but not a problem I don't believe. All in all I told my body guy what I paid and what I had to do to make it work and he said that he could not have made it from scratch for that price. So I guess its u to you if you think you have the time and skill to do the metal work. If you are looking at the whole assembly then I would assume again its not going to be a drop in and that you will have to modify it a bunch. My .02.

That price is for the whole floor pan. Both sides and seat box.

And what you're describing is exactly my biggest fear. Drop that kind of money on the floor pan only to have to do a significant amount of fabrication work.

The previous owner of my Patrol cut out the original seat boxes (as well as the front wall of the tub) to put in bucket seats. I bought a set of original seats from Zed and want to use them, but having to fab the seat boxes back in is probably as much work as making this floor pan fit. I'm going to email the seller and see if I can get any more information.

Go to C.I troa before buying them off eBay and get a quote. Quotes I got about 3 months ago where a lot cheaper. Not sure if it will make a difference but might be worth a try. Alberto is the guy I have talked with.

Thanks, Matt. Will let you all know what I find out.

Might be cheaper/easier to buy you a parts patrol and use the parts needed or see if anyone in the states has stuff they will part with. I can guarantee that the one from there will take ALOT of massaging to make fit.

If you do get another Patrol to use for parts, make sure it is the same year. The floor pans changed a few times for the US Patrols, mainly around the transmission cover. There was a change from '67 to '68, and for some reason I think even the '69 was slightly different from the '68.
