Replacement Muffler Suggestions

The PO of my restored 69 Softie replaced the original (and beyond hope) muffler with a cylindrical glass-pak, which looks the part but sounds variously like a tractor or racecar (depending on RPM) and frightens my neighbors.
From my searches here for "muffler," it appears OEM is not available, but I would like something as authentic (or at least authentic-looking) as possible.
Any suggestions on where (in order of descending desirability) I can get:
a proper OEM 69 muffler
a proper OEM non-69 muffler
a period-correct Nissan muffler (that will fit)
a period-correct non-Nissan muffler
And if none of those is possible (or is unreasonably expensive):
source and part number of something that looks like one of the above but sounds non-tractor/racecar
Clamps would be great, but are not as high a priority. I don't have the passenger step, so heat shield is not an issue.
Thanks in advance.
