Brake Hoses

Post by Peter60 »

I recently located LNF Brakes on eBay http://stores.ebay.com.au/LNF-BRAKES?_t ... 7675.l2568, well actually they were referred to me by a friend who has used their services before.

I enquired if they had any brake hoses for a G60. After a few emails of sending technical specs and photos I ordered 3 hoses for the front brakes.

They were delivered in about a week to Australia.

They cost $US10 each plus $US15 for tracked postage. Ordinary post would suffice for $US10 as I really couldn't tract the delivery progress.

My only comment is that the outside diameter of the hoses was narrower than the ones I removed. I'm not sure if that means they aren't as strong/durable.

LNF Brakes are in Argentina!
Not sure if I will get there.
Not sure if I will get back.
But I usually do!!!

Nothing will compare with the original brake hoses. I changed mine 2 years ago, after more than 40 years of use, and they were not leaking, just frayed and I was doing some additional brake work.

I purchased the ones that are sold at O'Reilly here in the States, mentioned in this post:

You'll be ok with the ones you've ordered.
