Sagging doors

During this custom truck build for my son, i have found something that i thought i should share. If youre doors are sagging and dont close easily, check the rubber cab mounts under the a pillars ( the a pillar is what the doors bolt to). If these are bad it will cause the a pillars to lower and cause the doors to sag. You can install new rubber mounts here and or add some washers to shim it. Of course before you do this check the obvious things first such as door hinges, striker plate adjustment, cracks in the doors around the hinge plates, etc. I just thought i would mention this, i dont think too many people realize how much this will affect the door adjustment. All of the mounts to an extent will cause alignment problems. Especially the a pillars.
