Welcome to 60patrol!
4 Patrols right off the bat!
That already puts you over the 3 Patrol minimum.
So, where did you buy them. Did you get them all from the same person? Which one did you decide to restore? What are your restoration plans; a frame off resto or a modernizing freshen up? C'mon, we need details, and lots of pics.
And please post up the VIN and engine number for ALL of these Patrols so we can add them to the Registry.

Well ive always been a datsun fan. Owned a few 510's back in my day and loved them. I was picking a farm in Oregon and they were in the field next to the house. Two are obvious parts rigs and have the dual vent under the windshield. The one I will be getting going is a 1963 hardtop. None are vin coded as soft tops. But being in Idaho (a dry state) all are rust free and relatively great shape for sitting in a field for 10 years. i have parts available but the rigs are 45 minutes away so I need a few days to check them out if you are looking for something.
I restore old motorcycles and cars so this will eventually get a restoration. For now im going to freshen the motor and braes and enjoy the idaho summer.

That sounds like an opening to a lot more stories...no_coast_customs wrote: I was picking a farm in Oregon and they were in the field next to the house.
Cool that you found them all together! I've always heard that there were many Patrols in Oregon, and lately more and more are turning up from there.
Dual vents under the windshield makes it a '68 or '69, or a '68-sold-as-a-69. Or as in one very rare case, a '70.
The VIN won't identify it as a hard or soft top until 1969. Prior to that it was purely random.
Sounds like a good plan to get it going and drive it a bit before tearing it down. It's nice to get a feel for the vehicle first. Keep us posted!

Welcome JP! When you get a parts inventory, let me know what you'd like to sell; I'm going to be in the market as I try to get my rig running.

Ain't that the truth!![That sounds like an opening to a lot more stories...]
I will be over there this weekend looking for some parts for a fellow member, I will hopefully be pulling one to my new home in start by April and can then start disassembling the ones I plan on selling for parts. Its been a crazy month for 4x4's for me... found these and had a basket case 1947 Jeep Willy's sold to me for $300. Fun times!!

Welcome to 60Patrol... Looking forward to seeing some pics of your rigs, and your project..!
4 Patrols at once, huh? Well you've got me beat
- It took me a year and a half to accumulate 4. When I'm done, I'm going to have two restored numbers matching rigs, a modified, non-numbers matching trail machine, and whatever's left of the 4th one after all the salvageable parts have been scavenged will go to scrap...
