aftermarket turbo for SD 33 5speed

Hello all I have a 160 and just got a fairly new engine for it. The SD 33 that I had in there was the original with a 4 speed transmition. The one I got is SD 33 but a bit different the oil breather is on top the head and came with original a/c compressor and I.C. controlled altanator. I was wondering if this engin could be fitted with a turbo. I know the sd 33 has a turbo version., how different is the engine with and with out the turbo. sal

Well, the Turbo engine is a really different you can find out the difference at the bottom of this page http://www.binderbulletin.org/forums/sh ... php?t=1467 But where did you found the new SD-33 I also have K160 and mean there is no new sd33's on the market

hi Roma well I live in Sri Lanka and we get a lot of spare engines impots from japan. While wondering in on of those yards, I happen to come across this one in very good condition, it had never been removed or rebuilt. the gear box and all other engine part's were attacthed cost me about 2500 $. changed the oils and it is running like new. sal.
