What to do with this old Patrol tire...?

You take:
-One old, crusty 7.0x16 bias ply tire
- 50 feet of 5/8" anchor rope (add a safety loop of 3/8 inch paracord to act as a shock-line in case the main rope breaks
)
-3 eye bolts
-and one 60 year old, hundred foot tall tree in the backyard...
Drill 3 holes in the tire, add eye-bolts, tie a bunch of knots in the rope, risk your life climbing 25 feet up into the tree to loop a noose around one of the branches that hangs out over the yard, and then sit back and enjoy.
THAT my friends, is the perfect recipe for "Father of the Year" casserole...:

Nah - the tortoise roams around in the grass.

You mean the "Patrol axle and snow plow hauler"....?
Yeah, I guess it could haul the horses, occasionally as well...

HAHAHA ... be careful.
My wife started out with "just" 4 chicken two years ago, as well... now she takes 2 DOZEN eggs to work with her every morning for her co-workers. She gets every color egg imaginable - white, brown, pink, blue, and green.
I think the chickens are much cooler than the tortoise - the tortoise is actually quite lame - he just walks around and tears up my lawn.
The chickens, however, are DELICIOUS when their time comes to lay on a hot grill, after soaking in marinade overnight
