npca-riverpatrol, mtpatrol here, I was wondering if you had gotten your 2 newest patrols yet? You have gotten the bug seriously with nine of them, it dosen't look good for me as I was hoping to quit with the 4 I have. LOL Are you going to look into having a softtop frame fabed off of the one you are getting? If so I would be one of the many that would purchase one from you. Anyway looking forward to hearing about the new one when you get them. Vern

The newest additions to the Patrol Farm will be arriving this Sunday. I am totally stoked with anticipation! Yes, I seriously have the bug - I think I need therapy. It all started because I needed parts for my first one. Go figure. I'll post some good pics after I get them. And since you mention it: yes, I was intending on looking into having at least one frame fabbed since I will now have 2 soft top Patrols. I don't really know what condition the newest one is in, but it looks pretty worthy in the pics. I already have a line on a (original?) canvas to use as a pattern for the top on the one I am restoring. It will be a little while though before I know how everything is going to come together. Maybe we could use this post to get an idea of how many people might be interested? Or start a separate one? I'd also like to get an idea of what people would be willing to spend for the frame and the canvas separately, or together as a package deal. That would tell me how to proceed once I get prices on getting the stuff made. I know what I'm willing to pay to get it done for myself, but others might not have the same budget.

Vern, Did you ever get the '69 in Dallas? I went by the other day and it was gone.

River, I would hope to get a frame and canvas for somewhere in the neighborhood of 800.00. Would spend more if needed as I know if you have it done it will be to the highest quality. As far as the patrol in Dallas I passed on it. I believe it went to someone in Oregon. I was more interested in the pto winch. I already have a warn so I decided to put the money in to what I already have. Vern

Hey Vern, That's good to know. That gives me somewhat of a guage to go by. I would like more input, if anyone else is willing and wanting. You're right about the quality. I will only settle for as close to original as absolutely possible. No boat canopy frame crap here.
