Jump Seat Attachment
Can someone tell me how the rear jump seats attach to the interior body on a 1969 Patrol? Is it along the seat back? Or is it where the hinge (the seat fold point) over the wheel well. Any clarity is appreciated. Especially with pictures.
And while I'm at it, I'm looking for a pair of rear jump seats. Condition is not all that important, as I'll be reupholstering them to match the front seats.
Thank you in advance for any replies.

Re: Jump Seat Attachment
On the 69 the rear jump seats mount at the hinge of the seat assembly. The rear jump seats changed in 68 to that style.

Re: Jump Seat Attachment
I need to remove the vinyl without cutting it. How is the upholstery attached?

Re: Jump Seat Attachment
Ah, ok. The vinyl on the seat bottom is just tucked into a lip along the outer edge of the rear, you should be able to pull that out with out too much trouble. The seat back is different, it's sewn on. To get it off without cutting the vinyl you will need to cut the stitching at the seam. The one at the bottom edge seems to be the most accessible.
