Barn door window gasket

I have been looking for a seal for quite some time now, this is what i have found. 1965-71 VW beetle or super beetle rear window gasket seems to be the closest i have found, two gaskets will be needed. There is also a rear window gasket for a 1987 Dodge D50 pickup that is close, but the gap where it mounts to the window flange is large. The beetle gasket is the one im going to use. Here are some pics.

Here is the EBAY link, there is a phone number i would recommend calling them. Haven't looked at their catalog in a while, but I purchased VW window rubber without the trim groove from JC Whitney.
It still looks in good shape after 15 years of Okie weather.

They are still offering them, no groove, for $35 a piece (http://www.jcwhitney.com/precision-part ... 5y1969g2j1). At least I believe that is the rear window weather stripping. With free shipping, it would work out the same buying from Ebay or JC whitney.

I ended up buying barn door window seals from an area vw restoration specialist. The one I got was for a front windshield on a 73-77 Super Beetle. It is long enough to make two barn door seals and the cost was under $28 with tax.

The front looks very similar to the older style Beetle seal (no glass in but I believe the edges will completely seat once there is):

Based on the pictures above, the backside looks like it may not extend quite as far down the lip:

The manufacturer of the seal is West Coast Metric. Their part number is 131-121C (http://www.westcoastmetric.com/product/ ... usa_by_wcm).

By the way, is the whitish color paint you see a primer? Same paint was evident when I installed the rear side windows and is elsewhere.
