ratpatrol66...

Post by ratpatrol66 »

I have had a few Patrols over the years. Still cruising the ratpatrol. One of my freinds drove this heap in High School, can't believe it's still running?

Welcome to 60Patrol. Brrrrr, I thought the temps here last night were cold. Patrol looks all original all the way to the paint.

Welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomewave: Thanks for sharing the pics. :D

I love your Patrol. It really has character. I love that's it is still running and being used. Too many people would want to be seen in it so it would sit neglected. I like the custom radiator block - I totally get it. Patrol heaters are very anemic in very cold weather. How long have you had it?

Welcome ratpatrol. I am new to the website myself and everyone has been great. Will be wearing out the search feature over the next couple weeks/months. Good luck with the green machine.

Looks like you have a 67, judging by the door handles. Looks like round button to open door? Square or rec. would be 68 or 69.

Early 66's have the two-piece style doors with recessed handles, and later 66's have the 67-later style door and handles...

My green 66 also has the early style doors.

Those that have been with you since new are the best!
I hope my Jeep and Frontier stay in the family forever. I have already told my kids they can each have one of the Patrols one day.

I bought my daughter a new car for her 16th birthday, my son is 14 and i told him i would buy him a new vehicle too. He said no dad i want a Patrol. How cool is that!, but i want him to have a vehicle thats a bit more road worthy. So we decided to to build a Patrol pick up/UTE. It will have a 5.3 chevy vortec, automatic, completely computerized. We will have to build most of it from scratch. It will be a father/son build, i cant wait. I will have a build thread on this when we start. :D
