I have seen two (2) different Front License Plate Holder Brackets
Tapered vertical upright, having single pair license plate mounting holes to accommodate single sized license
License plate bracket.jpg

Straight vertical upright, having multiple pair license plate mounting holes to accommodate various sized license plates
License plate bracket #3 back resized.jpg
Can anyone add insight if the style of bracket was used for specific years?

Thanks,
Keith

My 68 matches the lower non-tapered style.
