gas pedal and brake and clutch pedals

Post by Urban60 »

Some of you are aware of the Ford brake and clutch pedals by PEDAL UP DORMAN part 705-913. They are easy to find in any parts store. I also discovered that Jaguar had a gas pedal that is long and narrow. I cut the pedal off to fit the length of the Patrol pedal and notched out the rubber in the back to fit and then applied some weather strip adhesive to the pedal. If anyone has a better idea for attaching the rubber to medal speak up. I also thought of rivets. You can usually find them on ebay reasonably. It keeps my foot from slipping anyway. :D

Good one....two Audrey. :handgestures-thumbup:
I have the same brake and clutch but put the solid section where wear  will occur most, at the bottom of the pedal.
Contact cement from a brush would be perfect....same stuff for door and window rubber tacking.
