Bravo!
I notice that your valve cover doesn't have the nipple for the pcv hose to connect to the air cleaner top. The Pre-'66 engines vented from a long tube mounted at the left rear of the engine, so the air cleaner and valve cover didn't have the hose connectors for the pcv. But yours seems to be a mix of both. You'll need to correct that before you convert to power brakes so you'll have enough vacuum pressure from the engine.
Another interesting mod on this Patrol; the rear doors have been enclosed on the inside. Whoever did it did a nice job.
The tub height front doors is something you see done sometimes. Look at mikesum's Patrol, he did the same thing. The Dream Garage Patrol was done like that, too.
Funny that your cicadas are so active this year! I actually have fewer than usual.

...and thinking this out a little more while in the shower, this incorrect venting situation has further ramifications. Your engine isn't venting anywhere, so it's going to blow a gasket somewhere to vent. It will never run well this way either. Probably why they messed with trying to get it to run so much.

The nipple for the PCV vent tube is there:
maybe the video obscured it, but it is present, and the equivalanet fitting on the air filter housing is also there- only the tube that connects the two is missing

It's all good, then.

Liked the two videos! Your Patrol is in great shape.
Reading yesterday I found that your master cylinder is called a Ford "fruit jar" MC. I will not forget that no matter what.

Wow... more than a year later.... It sits, exiled to the backyard, next to the lawn mower, the hay hauler, and 2869ral's snow plow...
My red Patrol has changed a lot since I got it, but it has also been forced to patiently wait its turn as other Patrol projects have snuck in line in front of it...
But thanks to RiverPatrol, the parts rig I got from her yesterday is going to provide a major benefit for this one, since I will now be able to rebuild it around a fully numbers matching frame and VIN tag (and maybe even a numbers matching engine.... maybe

),
And in the end, this one will end up being the correct 1965 hardtop, with all the correct documentation, that the registry says it started out as...
Oh, and I found the original paint, beneath two layers of red:
It will be white again, someday....
