I just recently got a hold of a 1968 nissan patrol. It has Chevy half ton running gear and A small block 350 with a turbo 350. It will fit 44in tires. Question is what is the best way to set up the suspension and the steering? And what would be the best kind of radiator to put in it to best cool the SBC?

Heres a few morsels of info...1. Chevy half-ton running gear would be a front Dana 44 or 10-bolt, and a rear 10- or 12-bolt.2. Flat-top knuckles will fit both a Dana 44 and a 10-bolt front.3. Patrol steering boxes have the exact same splines as GM's pitman arms. You can get a drop pitman arm for a Heep for a low price.4. Many Heep owners use Full-Size Heep(Wagoneer, Cherokee, J-series pickup) radiators when installing a small-block Chevy.5. 73-87 Chevy 4x4's have a measurement of about 30" from centering pin to centering pin on the front leaf springs.
