Chimpboy had looked at a Green rust bucket G60 in Lysterfield VIC and decided not to buy it. I had since worked out the need to start buying a few parts.
Mirrors, seats, hardtop, door stoppers and lots other stuff, all small stuff that wreckers charge a heap for. Also then worked out the Green G60 had a 2” lift which will go in the Beige G60.
After getting home had to knock the back wall out of the garage and put both P’Trolls in the back yard.

After going to doing Sydney – Melbourne return last week. Then drove Sydney Brisbane return to see the inlaws and also picked up a MQ front diff. Whilst in Brisbane pulled the front hubs of it to do a disc conversion laster on. Drove 4500km in two weeks for a bit of fun !!!

Well flew to Brisbane last night to collect my new Marks 5 Speed !!! The bloke I bought it from a few months ago dropped it at my in laws place. Have hired a car to drive home on Sunday.
Now he mentioned he also left a box of extras including a new clutch. What I didn’t know was the other extras. Well today I got to find out !! Look at the pics they explain it for themselves !!
Well just got back from driving 11 hours straight from brisbane. Had called two mates over to help lift it out of the car. After roping it up and sliding some gal pipe through the ropes we just lifted it straight into a wheel barrow. I swear it weights around 80-100kg !!!
Jason,
I will start measuring it up and to be honest, not to sure what to measure. So send me some directions and I will factor it in. I wasnt planning on separating from the transfer and I dont need to !

Well I had big plans today and inshort got nothing done !
Went down to Supercheap Auto and bought a engine hoist, chassis black paint and some misc tools.
Got home and spent the next 2 hours building it and then more time cleaning the garage.
Have now got another problem is how to use my hoist in a grass backyard ? Hoist wheels don't seem to like working on grass and sink. Just wishing I had a 2 car garage with nice smooth concrete floor !! Need to work out some logistics before I can more forward !!!!!
I'm thinking I need to move the the G60 half into the garage, so I can hoist the engine/ boxes out. Then can wheel it back 6 foot under my also new 2nd hand carport (Temporary tent like). So how do I move a car without power up a hill. Think I will need to power up the green G60 tow it forward, and then change and push it into the garage. This will be fun!!!
