I am new to this site , but I have been on other sites prior to wrecking my 64 last July. A Ford Explorer ran a red light and T-boned me breaking my nose and totaling my Patrol.
I have missed driving it, and only recently was overcome with Patrol fever. (You know who you are River) 
I just purchased a 67, I thought I was going to say "bought not built" but It looks like a project car with a new paint job. The previous owner was trying to sell it so new paint and wheels, but electrical components apparently not essential. My fault I didn't ask the questions before buying.
Who knew he prefered chrome wheels over turn signals or brake lights. I don't need no stinking gauges anyway! 
It starts and stops thats all I need. 
Fortunately I saved the heater core and allot of other parts from my 64. The doors latching shut only interferes with airflow since the windows are hard to roll down. Actually not everything is that bad. My hubby and I have been working diligently and have all the lights working again.
Glad you made your way here. Congratulations on your new Patrol. Guess I've got some serious competition at the car shows now.
