Hi from Vegas

Post by NefariousCam »

Howdy! I'm Cam, owner of Nefarious Kustoms. Just moved out west from Austin and couldn't pass up a unique 4x4. After buying a 1967 Patrol, I ended up at RMP. A board member here told me about this site and RMP might be winding down. Look forward to meeting you. Here's my intro thread on the last site, a little more about me and pics of the Patrol.

This is the good side :D

Cam welcome.
Looks like a good start. Get those great shots posted on here when you have the chance. By the sound of your co. name are you going to do any changes? Thanks and welcome twice :!:

Hey Cam! I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years before moving to northern Nevada almost 11 years ago. I'm guessing that your Patrol is rust free. A cool find indeed. Welcome to 60Patrol.

I'm hijacking cams thread! I bought the patrol from him on Monday, the patrol
is staying in Vegas and I don't think I've ever seen another here before but I'll find
them if they are here.
Currently I'm a Datsun roadster guy and have an original 67.5 two liter car #148
I've built it from the ground up literally the desert was swallowing it up so after
spending 25k on a car that you are afraid to drive I decided a Patrol would be
perfect for me to just have fun with.
Im going to start asking a lot of the newbie questions about wheels and tires, brakes,
the major oil leak and how does this stuff work.
If any of you are on the 311s.org my screen name is Chucks66

Awesome! Welcome to 60Patrol! :text-welcomeconfetti: I'm glad this Patrol went to a good home, and I'm glad Cam saw the light. ;) We've got 1 or 2 Roadster fans wandering around here somewhere, I'm sure they'll chime in. :D

That Patrol has a lot of potential. Don't hesitate to ask questions, plenty of us will offer advice willingly. And take a look in the Patrolabilia section to find service manuals, parts manual, spec sheets, brochures and tons of other literature to keep you entertained. Keep us posted on your progress, and we require lots of pictures. :D

 We are all slaves to the PHPbb format. :D We tried to make it a little easier than most forums: you can upload pics as attachments directly in a post, or you can create your own photo album in the Gallery, upload pics there and link to them in your post. Granted, it's not as easy as Photobucket and the others, but we're a forum, not a graphics hosting site... :D :P :D
