Hi everyone, mum and dad got a call today while I was at work from a family friend locally who has actually got an old G60 sitting in there yard that they purchased for parts for there MK.
Its a Major Rust bucket, with no body panels that are any good, but all the lights are there, complete working Engine, Complete Driveline, all Sterling hardtop Glass not Smashed, front Windscreen not smashed.
So if I were to get this G60 to wreck/part out What would you be interested in ?

Its a long shot but would you be willing to ship the three speed gear box to the U S? I can pay with pay pal and make it worth your while $$$ My wife is a U P S driver and says you can call U P S freight and they will come to you and pick it up. It would have to be in a box or strapped to a pallet. I am in serious need of the internal gears, mainly the little idler gear at the back end of the gear box...the one that is held in by the pin with a hold down bolt on top as you look on the bottom/passenger side of the interior of the case. IT may be easier to dismantle the gear box and just ship the internals. It took me less than twenty minutes to seperate the gear box from the transfercase and totally dismantel the gear box. Not too much too it. Name your price you may be my only hope to keep this g60 totally stock.

I'm sure you can find one closer, probably in your same state. Member 50car would be the first one to ask. Otherwise I know where there are others.
Welcome to 60Patrol!

69usa60,
I have a spare transmission from a 1965 Patrol. I do not know the condition of the tranny. It had been sitting in the rear compartment of the Patrol for many years. The prior owner had removed the transmission when he pulled the motor for a spun bearing.
Let me know if you are interested.
